March 24-27, 2010 - AQS Quilt Show in Lancaster - Is your Guild interested in attending the American Quilte's Society (AQS) Quilt Show in Lancaster? This will be the very first AQS show in 2010 and i's being held at the brand-new Lancaster County Convention Center and Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square. What a great outing this would be for your Quilt Guild! If you don't have enough members in your Guild to fill a bus, let me know and perhaps I can recommend another smaller Guild that you can partner with. You definitely don't want to miss this show! This event itself features 400 beautiful quilts in the AQS Quilt Contest, special quilt exhibits, 300 vendor booths - plus classes, lectures and special events with national quilt instruc- tors. Best of all, there's NO ADMISSION FEE for attending the show, lectures or special events (fee for workshops & classes only). PLUS, there's so much to see and do in Lancaster County that you can easily spend several extra days in the area - and THAT'S WHERE I COME IN!
